“YOU HAVE TO HAVE A DREAM”
“To accomplish great things, we must dream as well as act.”
Anatole
France (1844 – 1924)

Will those you
love be able to accomplish the great things that they are dreaming about if
something should happen to you? Maybe they are dreaming about specializing
in Math and Sciences, or being an Architect, Engineer, Brain Surgeon, etc.
If you are not around to help them with the staggering cost of Higher
Education, will they able to fulfill their dreams? Or will they have to
settle for something else because you were not around to help them and they
could not afford the cost to attain a higher-level education. You never
know when an accident will happen or some other unplanned event will occur
that will take you from this earth to meet your Maker. Make sure that you
are spiritually prepared and after that consider being financially prepared
for those you leave behind.
Maybe you are
planning your own retirement dreams for travel or a Special Get-Away place
to relax and enjoy the good life that you have been blest with. With the
change in our Economy and people losing their jobs, will you still be able
To Accomplish the Great Things that you were Dreaming about before the
recent change in our economy?
Maybe you have
heard that September is Life Insurance Awareness Month.
Acting NOW by reviewing your Life Insurance portfolio needs could allow you
and/or your loved ones fulfill their Dreams. Having enough Life Insurance
could help in both of these cases with proceeds to Beneficiaries all
Income Tax Free.
In a recent Q
and A communication, Terry Savage, a Personal Finance Columnist for the
CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, among other questions answered was this one. “Q.
How long can I postpone buying life insurance, and what kind should I buy?”
Terry Savage answers - “You can postpone buying life insurance as long as
you are certain you can postpone your death! Seriously, life insurance isn’t
pleasant to think about – not only because it tends to be complicated, but
because it forces us to think about our own mortality.”
The next step
to take is to “ACT” and buy Life Insurance for yourself and/or for those
that you love so that your Dreams and theirs can be fulfilled. Now the
question is – from WHERE to Buy? -
From a Fraternal Insurance Organization or a Commercial Company? In my July
21, 2008 article Where to Buy, I discussed the
history and many differences between the two types of Insurance Providers.
One notable difference is that Commercial Life Insurance companies are
beholden to the stockholders but when you belong to a Fraternal, the
long-term interest and well being of the member is the most important
objective.
A July 20,
2009 Press Release from the NFCA (National Fraternal Congress of America)
stated: Consumer Trust Fuels Fraternal Sales - Fraternal Life
Insurers were the only industry sector to post sales increases in the first
quarter of 2009, according to a recent study published by the Life Insurance
Marketing and Research Association (LIMRA). Fraternal Life Insurers offer
the bread-and-butter products that people can rely on. Moreover, we’re
finding that consumers want to be part of organizations that are dedicated
to doing good works in communities across the country every day. These
factors combine to make fraternal life insurers an attractive alternative in
uncertain times.
