On Monday, June 30, 2008, the four Polish
Fraternal Organizations, PNA, PRCUA, PFA, and PWA united once again for
an evening to host Polish-American Night at U.S. Cellular Field (Sox
Park). This event was organized by the Polish fraternal organizations
Vice Presidents: PNA VP - Paul Odrobina who also chaired this event,
PWAA - VP Sharon Zago, PFA - VP Robert Gorny and PRCUA - VP Anna
Sokolowski.
Before the game, the PRCUA Polonia Dance
Ensemble provided the entertainment at the gate. The PRCUA member, Renee
Bober, dressed in beautiful Polish regional costume sang perfectly and
beautifully the National Anthem at the start of the game. Renee did an
amazing job and she was absolutely wonderful and made us so proud.
Congratulations Renee!
Members of the Polish National Alliance,
Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, Polish Women's Alliance and
Polish Falcons of America together with sell-out crowd cheered on the
Chicago White Sox as they defeated the Cleveland Indians 9-7!
Hope to see you next year at another Polish-American Night at White Sox
and other events organized by the four Polish Fraternal Organizations.
